Foggy Blossom Farm is home to an array of perennial plants,
located on 12 acres northeast of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The farm was created in 2018 by Dan and Betsy Brockett, with an aim to blend art and agriculture into a sustainable endeavor. Using inspiration from regenerative and permaculture principles, they cultivate a vast assortment of fruits, nuts, flowers and vegetables. The most notable perennial on the acreage is willow - of which there is an extensive collection of varieties for use in basketry, craft, and living structures.

March 2026 Update:
Due to personal health circumstances, we will not be opening the cuttings shop or teaching any weaving workshops this year.
At the end of 2025 Betsy endured her 3rd surgery and course of chemotherapy to address a cancer diagnosis that was first identified in 2014. Recovery is going well, but the toll of this experience has led to our decision to take time off from the usual farm pursuits.
We hope to offer dried willow material for weaving later on this year, and will announce that when the time is right. If you subscribe to our Field Notes below, you will receive any updates we share.
Thank you for your understanding.
